Very simple actually. Step 1: Set up the camera, take one shot without the car. Step 2: Use a spring loaded shower curtain rod to pin the car between the ceiling and the dinning room table. Step 3: Take four more shots, moving the car 90 degrees after each. Step 4: Take those four shots and green over the shower curtain rod in each frame. Step 5: Paste each image over the first shot, chroma keying the green out so the first image shows through underneath. Ta-Da! 🎉

Ah, thought you meant special FX. Chroma key, CG and such. Most of the sound effects I use come from my own library, royalty free stuff off the web and stuff I just threw together on the fly.
