That's not true in all cases. All of the AI generated pictures of my ancestor in the Historical Women thread and My Ancestor Was A Real Bad Ass were a single prompt in a single AI using a single reference photograph of me. I suppose my bestie could have gone on to fine tweak the initial results, but didn't bother here because from experience, the initial result was always the best in earlier experiments (prior to the Hanna's Ancestor series). The trick my bestie found, know the end result that you are looking for and then go though all of your doll photographs and use the one that is nearest to the face, hair, and pose that you want in your AI generated photo. Then prompt AI to use real places as the background. Something AI excels in because it has hundreds, maybe thousands of images of that location in its memory from its model training.

Kind of an accident, this photo series. Vheer really excels at changing backgrounds, but you can't use your own photo. There are a number of preset themes though and each one can be tweaked a bit. I was playing with the sci-fi theme and added "Onboard a futuristic spacecraft" to the preset.

The moment I saw Vheer's render, I remembered that blue science officer uniform from the original Star Trek series. Seemed like it'd be a good fit so I found a costume image online very reminiscent of that uniform. I then used Bit Studio to change Jyoti into it. Very pleased with the results. I'm thinking about doing a video version. 🎬

No, I didn't add a sound track to that one. It's made from the GIF version I posted on Deviant Art.

Decided to try a little subtle Ai on Jyoti's friend Suzy. Being a mannequin, Suzy's posing ability is rather limited. Ai fixed that and with a smile! 🙂

That's what I was after. Suzy has a very natural pose to begin with and I was hoping the Ai would keep with that.

Dolls and AI are a great combo, saves buying more clothes for a start, plus facial expressions give the doll a bit more character. I got 3 with moveable jaw but open mouth much and they just looked shocked.. Thx for pictures looking great.

Didn't change Suzy's outfit in that last series. Those are vintage clothes that belonged to my late mom. Did change the background though and the Ai I used matched the time period perfectly.

The example photos I gave the Ai to create these with were basic snapshots taken with a very simple point and shoot camera. I especially like that the Ai didn't change the nature of the photographs in the resulting renders.
