Morning, well I kind of enjoyed my pampering session yesterday, but I think Bobby got more Baby oil and talc on himself than me🤣🤣 but my skin does feel softer.

He is visiting his Sister today for a family dinner. I think they are having roast beef and then later he says he wants to pop in for his Sunday Sundae.

Apparantly there is an interesting Drama on tonight for anyone who likes historic dramas all about William the Conqueror and Harold and the build up to 1066 and the battle of Hastings, Bobby wants us to watch it with him to see what it's like. I think it's on BBC1 at 9pm, so that might be fun!

Anyway guess those coffees won't make themselves. I will catch you all later👍

Well Its the build up to it theres 8 episodes, but unfortunately its filmed in Iceland, not in Hastings which is around 1 hour and a half away from me.

I know they filmed a wartime detective series in the old part of Hastings, Foyles war. Also a part of a Bond film was made at Beachy Head. The Living Daylights, when the Landrover at the start crashes into the sea of the Rock of Gibraltar. It was fired actually fired off Beachy head. Well also in a View To A Kill the mine at the end was filmed at Amberley Chalk pits museum around 40 minutes drive from me and Marina Sirtis from Star Trek fame made a film in my home town many years ago


Yes the girls don't mind watching historical dramas, it keeps them educated on British History, well they liked The Vikings, Spartacus blood and sand and The last Kingdom and I think Coco watched Game Of Thrones, but that was more fantasy. We normally watch boxsets as theres bugger all on worth watching on TV

Yes I'm looking forward to King & Conqueror tonight, maybe I'll try and conquer Bobby🤣🤣 as it's my turn in bed. If the programme is boring I'll give it a go!

He did pop in for his Sundae today, but later, than normal the owners told him off as he always comes in at a certain time, but they were just having a laugh with him. He was having a family dinner with his Sister, Mother and Nephew

We also have a competitor that's recently opened up the road, but the Gelato isn't as good, they focus more on Cookie dough, pancakes and waffles, Bobby is thinking about trying out the cookies, which we dont sell

May be a job for Bobby at the new place Thea, Lady-J (y)

No they don't need any staff. It's only a small place Lady-J. They don't even get that busy. I give them 6 months before they have to close. The problem is here the business rates are too high

Good morning,

Well the drama about William and Harold wasn't that great last night. So we are going to give it a miss. It did have someone from The Game of Thrones in it though apparantly, Jamie Lannister or whoever he was.

There was a better programme on afterwards a documentary on BBC4 about the Battle of Hastings, it was actually fought at Battle, around 6 miles away and the reason why William the Conqueror defeated Harold was because William's army was not big enough to invade, so he persuaded mercenaries from Italy and other places to join him, promising them riches and a place in Heaven ( He made out that the Pope was backing the battle )

Poor Harold had just defeated the Vikings at Stamford Bridge around 250 miles away, so he rushed down to Hastings and built a massive shield wall at Battle. When some of the mercenaries saw Harold's army and how strong they were they fled the field, and and a lot of Harold's army decided to chase them. This divided Harold's army, but he could do nothing as he had no horse cavary so he couldnt reach them.

So Willian then tricked Harold and made out more of his troops were retreating, so More of Harold's men gave chase, then William attacked up the hill with his soldiers and cavary with his Archers behind him, he told them to fire at Harold's soldiers and Harold got one in the eye and was then killed by William ( well more like hacked to bits ) and William became the Conqueror of Britain

Well that's all folks, now you know why William became Conqueror of Britain😉

Unfortunately it's only a husband and wife team, I was just lucky Julia. Also we make waffles and crepes and Bobby isnt very good at cooking and would probably burn everything.

I was just at the right place at the right time. They did have another part time girl before me, but she had just left and they weren't really looking to take anyone on, but when they saw me, they changed their minds. I had to create a Sundae for them and they Judged it to see how good it was. I can be quite creative, unfortunately Bobby is not that way inclined, except in the bedroom🤣🤣

Oh yeah this is Battle Abbey very near to where 1066 The Battle of Hastings was fought

Morning, Bobby is helping his Sister this morning. She rents her property and is having an inspection today.

His teenage Nephews room is like a tip, and you know what Teenagers are like🤔 goodness knows what they will find in there, probably something growing🤣🤣

Well off to work for me this afternoon, gotta sell those Gelatos, they won't sell themselves. Yes I've already made the coffees for the Love birds, Coco and Bobby, but hes already up. Cocos moaning as she wanted him in bed with her for more hugs🤣🤣

The Abbey looks in good repair Thea, no Machine Gun damage like I thought there would be? :unsure:Lady-J

Well unfortunately they didnt have machine guns in 1066 Lady-J more like axes, arrows, swords and spears. Maybe a catapult or two🤣🤣

Well we've just had a debate about the sleeping arrangements tonight, I'm in the mood for some love. I think seeing Bobby's moustache earlier got me all excited😯( if you know what I mean 🤭 ) and its Cocos night in the sack, so we've made a deal. I'm going to have some loving with Bobby and when we have finished Coco is going to pop back into bed, that way Bobby gets the best of both worlds🤣🤣

Good compromise I think🤭🤔

Oh yes it was 1066, it's was a joke really Thea, but the Abbey, would not be standing today, Lady-J :(

I know Lady-J😁 I'm kind of getting used to your humour. I think Battle Abbey was built in 1067 to commemorate Wiiiams Victory and Bobby went there years ago in his youth to visit ( and no not in 1067🤭 )

I'm not sure if Mr Bobby would want to visit in 1067 anyway Thea, but if I went back then, I be taking my Machine Gun, Lady-J (y)

Wow! It's nearly the end of August guys! When Bobby and I were shopping the other day we noticed that Sainsburys had started to get some Christmas cakes and mince pies in the shop already.

We are not even in September yet, it's crazy😯 who wants Christmas stuff this early? We haven't even had Halloween yet or Back Friday or Cyber Monday or whatever it's called🤔

Well it's my afternoon off and Bobby doesn't have to help his Sister, as he helped her yesterday, so I'm trying to keep him in bed as long as possible with me😁

Yes Coco was supposed to be in Bobby's bed last night, but after I had finished with Bobby he just crashed out😉🤣🤣 in a good way of course, Coco wasn't impressed!

Anyway I think Bobby deserves a ☕ for giving me lots of loving, better make Coco one too👋 for now.

Oh yes its Cocos last sexual position post today. She hopes you have enjoyed her Thread😁 She wants to start another Thread, but she doesn't know what about yet

Morning all, well the weather looks better today😁

Well what should I do today? Any ideas?
Maybe i can coax Bobby into coming into town with me to look around the shops. Although he finds our town boring. We have no Macdonalds even, or Primark or George at Asda, not even an HMV. Bobby would like to see an Iceland, but they don't want to come to our town☹

Well maybe we can just get a coffee and just sit outside and people watch, watch them rush around with their busy lives up our main pedestrianised street.

Well talking about coffees☕ they wont make themselves!

Well not a great afternoon, it rained as soon as it stopped we had a coffee at Amici a posh coffee shop that we haven't tried. I had a red velvet croissant and a cappuccino and Bobby just had a Cappuccino Yes we dont have coffee out much it's too pricey😯

Red velvet pastry😉🤣🤣 maybe some natural red food colouring. I don't really know I just ate it Jed I didn't inspect it 😁 and very nice it was too. It had chocolate inside it I know that much😋 and it looked different
