I know just what you mean- I have done a few works / site safety etc type induction training sessions a bit like that, You usually do absorb the info - just takes a few days / weeks to get into the rhythm of any new thing… Im sure you’ll be perfectly OK in due course,,,,,
Yeah I wasn't really used to all the terms he used to call things either. I'd of prefered worksheets, so i could of taken them home to refresh my brain. Lucky for me most of the questions were multiple choice. I would of prefered bite size pieces of info, but i was there from 7am, until lunchtime and my brain could only take so much info. The crew i will be going out with will be experienced tomorrow, so i hope they are understanding, the thing is everyone learns at their own pace, depending on their background. I just feel like a bit of a wally
My brain is not very technically minded im afraid, ive unloaded lorries and used different lifts, to send stock up, in retail but they were just two buttons and an emergency stop button. I guess if i had some idea beforehand,i did try to find stuff on youtube, but there wasnt much at all
