A young pup🤣🤣. I dont think the bank would be interested. I couldn't afford to do it on benefits. I could go self employed at the job centre. They have a self employment coach, but i still need a customer base and to advertise the ladies and would need a business plan.

Morning, Had a fun night last night with Bobkins. Today is dentist day for him, he only wants his plate fixed, but he has to have a full check up. He is oksy with that, but normally they find other things too and he doesn't want other work done at the moment, just his plate ( false tooth ) fixed.

Yes its strange that they open both Saturday and Sunday. Most only open Mon - Fri. I said I'd go with him with Coco and if they caused him any pain, they would have us to deal with, but he said he would be okay. Yes VG don't take any crap from anyone!

Anyway its ☕ time and Thea is staying at the club for her roast dinner today, I'm happy with burgers and beans to be honest🤣🤣

Yes think you need the start low by selling items at a market stall or jumble sale, team up with someone who has a car or van, shair the cost of the stall and table, and getting things around, make some money that way a bit at a time, and then work from there.
Items are going to be a high price soon with the war going on, and second hand items will be in high demand, this may also lead to more real jobs as products run out, more will need to be made here, Lady-J

Yes, we imagine petrol prices will go up a lot, meaning it will cost more to transport goods the longer it goes on.
We haven't had a jumble sale around here for years, i think people are wiser these days and sell stuff on EBay. I've never been to a jumble sale, but Bobkin says they were fun and you never knew what you could find🤣🤣

Buffy there are a lot of them round here, a good number most weekends, and trafic builds up for over a mile long to get to them, a table is around £5-00 I think, some free, you can put up for sale what you like, but not Bobkin's, Lady-J👍

Yes he told me about them, the Scouts and different organisations used to hold them and sometimes at the end you could get a big bag of clothes for £1 if they hadn't sold them.

Yeah sadly our UK manufacturing industry is in decline- its all fine and dandy us becoming dependent on the cheap imports - until they start to get expensive, and by then its too late as we have lost the facilities to make stuff for ourselves.Would be great to think we could buy an actual UK made love doll 😀

Yes. At one time Britain ruled in industry, even our chocolate is made abroad, well most of it. Great names like Cadburys and Rowntrees of York dont exist, in name only.

Morning guys, yes I'm in the sack for a few nights. Bobby's dentist appointment went well yesterday for him. He had a lady dentist.

Well its all good here and I'm always happy when i get a chance in the sack with Bobby, i think he is helping his Sister this morning with her shopping, as she suffers from back and leg problems from a motorcycle accident around 4 years back.

Well im guessing he will want one of my special ☕ soon, i wont tell you why they are special, thats my secret, but it will wake my boy up for sure😄

You don't need a bank and you can get started for as little as $500 upfront. That's to make your first one for your ads. Then you start up a seller site on Etsy and Ebay. Your product on day one is made to order which means the customer know they will have to wait a month - give or take a week or so during which time you buy the material and make the doll. It may take a week or two to get your first order and the after that maybe one or two a day until people find you. But that's your initial capacity anyway. You can advertise on doll forums too.

If job center does not consider selling stuff on ebay (like hobby selling) a business, then this size business is just additional beer money, not a livelihood and not affect your benefits. If it doesn't work out, you lost a few hundred dollars at most but if it takes off, which may take a year or two, then you have at least some financial security.

You are already well known on this forum, it shouldn't be that difficult to find your first customers and/or silent partner/investor here.

I don’t want to sound at all negative but it seems most businesses making money from dolls outside Asia are re-selling them not manufacturing.- Most vendors take customers money before ordering the doll from the factory so costs are minimal and cash flow is better, even Robert at VG buys in the basic doll shapes from outside Europe.
No love dolls allowed on eBay or Amazon anymore - I don’t know about Etsy. I guess a decent website selling direct could work but would have to be child friendly like this one, I do wonder how a lot of the doll vendors comply with the OSA…..
Doll making / selling as you say might be feasible on low volume artisan basis that way it wouldn’t be necessary to spend huge resources on things like health and safety, compliance, insurances etc etc

If you can't sew, you hire someone to do that. All you would need to do is get the orders, and send them out.

I heard that. Worked for myself for a good many years before retiring. Put in way more hours doing that than I ever did working for someone else. Made way less money too. Tell you what though, I was a whole lot happier.

As far as selling dolls goes, you can get unstuffed fabric doll blanks from Hy-Doll for $139. Add 10lbs of poly-fil and it's a $500 doll! Sell a couple of those a month and you're already over what the gov is paying out.

Im back, i left Thea doing some of my weekly paperwork yesterday and shes having a nice breakfast this morning😊

Today Bobby is helping his Sister shopping and then going for lunch with her. Coco is still in the sack with Bobkins, but hopefully I'll get my turn, nothing much else going on, except the normal Job Search from Bobby later.

Well as Coco has fallen asleep i guess i better fix Bobkins a ☕ see you laters

Well i didnt get a turn in the sack last night☹ Bobby was all over Coco, shes his favourite at the moment

Well nothing exciting to report, except even though Bobkins got paid from his past employer, he hasn't lost all his UC this month which he thought he would, so thats a positive, but I'm sure it wont last as he has a few Birthdays this month to buy gifts for and its Mothers Day on Sunday too. I don't think i would be good at all that Mothering stuff, but Coco does Mother Bobby at times😄

Well i guess I'll make Bobkins a coffee, as Coco is asleep, as usual and then off the the club later to see how Thea is getting on, 🙋‍♀️ for now ( by the way thats not me its an emoji 😄 )
