Getting turned off by AI?

I have gone through the membership list fairly recently and noticed a number of members who have joined up and made zero posts. Also a large amount who have made only one post.

I understand those posing hassles. I used to frequently pose my C18 foam doll who was floppy with no skeleton, but I had to make a lot of fancy gadgets to hold her in the poses.
It was also awfully time consuming to set up each pose. Now I've become a little lazy about that kind effort since I got Julia.

Well the thing is even if i want to be my plushie self and do lots of movements it has to be in Ai, so members would see me in my original form, but in Ai.

In reality i just normally just chill out in Bobbys sack ( bed ) i cant see members would be very interested in seeing me in bed all the time and i like to go out and about 😄

I mean before Ai i did use a background changer and kind of insert myself into a scene, but it didnt always come out well and was very time consuming

That seems to be pretty common no matter which site or platform we post on, there are always a heck of a lot more lurkers than those that actively participate.

Although I do appreciate likes and even more the comments, I realised a few years back most of my enjoyment (kicks) came from having an idea and then trying to transform those thoughts into a photo. I don't smile a lot, but it makes me very happy when I have a nice shot on my camera, sometimes I can spend hours trying to achieve that... I take a lot of photos, I post very few of them, when I do post them any likes are an added bonus.

Personally, I think when you post stuff, you should do it for yourself, not for likes or comments. Yes, it is nice to get likes, nice to get nice comments, but, as Mr Spice says, getting likes and nice comments are a bonus. You should take photos (or make AI images) because you love doing it.

This might be an unpopular thing to say, but I feel that generally, people on forums are mostly interested in their own stuff. Yes, some people do get themselves about very well, and like and comment on many things. But yes, mostly people care about their own stuff number one, and I think that is only natural. I'm a bit like that. I love taking photos of my ladies and sharing them with the world (of doll forums, I don't do any other social media, it is not for me), and if no one likes or comments on my stuff, no worries, but if they do, that's very nice and much appreciated. I try to get around other threads but with work and stuff, I find my time is limited.

Don't worry if people don't care about your sh!t. All that matters is that you do 🍻.

Yeah totally agree, you should post and share stuff because you want to for yourself first and if other Members enjoy it or find it fun then its a bonus😄 i like Miss K she brings some humour and fun and i think your other ladies are lovely and your furry ladies are cute and look very huggable!

I post because i like posting, especially on our blog. In years to come, if the forum is still here, there will be a record of the Plushville Girls in our blog. I mean this time next year it could reach 200 pages😅

🤔If it ever gets to the point that it really bothers you, I am pretty sure you could always get AI to read the posts and comment for you.😆

We don't use AI in our house. Not that Joe hasn't been tempted, but he says we already have too many hobbies.
All of us in the house made a mutual agreement though, that we prefer doing our photos without it for as long as we possibly can.
