Loved the AI pic from earilier in the thread, just seen it!

As for the Tornado's sounds terrifying. Hope you have a cellar, or whatever is safe in those encounters! Hanna as a firefighter is great, just what you need when things get stormy!

Yikes! The Windy City really lives up to it's name. 😱
It does get very windy, especially in the winter. But that not where the nickname came from. Google it.

The real answer is even more appropriate.

Oh, and 😍, did I say how much I adore your firefighter picture?
I thought it was only women that got turned on by men in uniform.

Jedzed said:
Glad you’re ok Hanna. The ladies here have been very worried about you.
Tell them I said, "Thank you."

Jedzed said:
The only dreadful wind they fear here is in our bedroom on a night after a visit to the local Indian takeaway! 🤣
Poor girls. You should be reported for doll abuse.

If you are referring to the watercolor, it is beautiful. But is not really me because AI won't give me my blue eyes in pic.

Yes, we have a cellar and we go there when the sirens go off.

🤔 I see. It doesn't become you to be so cynical, you know. You should probably leave that to Mr Pex. 😁
Yes, you are correct.

Pex keeps telling me that AI will eventually lead to the extermination of mankind from the planet. People paying to use AI will unwittingly fund the growth of the beast. These picture apps are meant to look innocuous to make people complacent and dismiss the danger until it is too late.

He is hooked on cautionary tales like Orwell's 1984 on the surveillance state and the Terminator series on AI's eventual takeover.

And yet Pex wants AI to give you a voice, and I assume, a fixed personality along with it.

I think you're much better off developing your own personality organically, but that's just me. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Yes, Pex had been looking for a voice AI app for me that would have allowed me to learn things and develop my own personality. He doesn't think we are there yet though. The AI app that Jedzed posted was just a fun diversion. Nothing more.

I think Pex would love it if I were a sentient android. But until then, he loves me just fine the way I am.

Why not take a photo of Hanna looking in the mirror?
Then take photo of that photo.

They are over for now. Tornado watches, which means conditions are right for a tornado, are fairly common in the area. Tornado warning, when one has been spotted, happen maybe only once or twice a year.

But next year marks the 100th anniversary of the Tri-State Tornado - March 18, 1925, which hit southern Illinois and was the deadliest tornado in US history.

Hopefully, it won't make make an anniversary reappearance.

I'm thankfull it's over for you Hanna:), are you in a city or outside a city?, we don't really get tornados but high winds and lots of rain and snow fall where we are, so we have to stock up winter time, but it's been a number of years of not being snowed in for weeks, but it can happen, so all round here stock up with food winter time, Lady-J

We get high winds and dreadful rain for days on end too. Also happens during the autumn, winter and spring!

Apart from Buffy, living with me are Autumn Black (my Teddy Babe Deluxe) and Harper Valentine (the wife), Thea Lexington, Dani Cordero and Cindy Lovegood (all TPE girls). We’re also expecting a new arrival, around the end of August to middle of September.

We share a house near the south-west Wales coast.

Have fun 🤩
You must live in a very big mansion!

Jedzed said:
No, it’s just very cosy together here 😂

And, of course, Hanna, you know that you would be more than welcome to join us (please 🙏)
Is your house a very, very, very fine house with two cats in the yard?

Jedzed said:
Yes it is. And I’ll light the fire while you put the flowers in the vase, the ones you bought today. Then you can play love songs to me all night long 😁
Do you like sunflowers? If you do, I will pick some for Thea to give to you.

Oh... and, do you like my gardening outfit?

xoxo

I love sunflowers. They bring back happy memories for me because my mother used to grow them in our garden.

And you look great Hanna, just like an adventurer or explorer.

Well, Pex and I finally have a little break from a very busy hectic week. So I thought I would pop in and say hi.

Next week will really be brutal with a few 18 hour days. But it will be very exciting next week in the windy city.

Hi Hanna

Great to see you again, and that’s a gorgeous picture of you. I’m sure Jed will be drooling over that for a while.

Wish I could come to the City with you, I’m sure you’ll have a great time.

Thea, Cindy and Dani all send their love too. We’ve a new girl joining us in the house soon, so keep an eye out for her.

Jed has been trying to think up a collective name for us here. You’ll find his musings in Cindy’s thread in the members forum. As you were so good at naming Cindy, perhaps you could come up with a suggestion? At the moment he’s calling us either his ‘Girls’ or ‘Huw’s Hotwives’ (Huw is his real first name).

Also have a look at the new thread also in the members forum called ‘Burlesque - Basques, Bustiers and Corsets’. There are photos of us at our corset party here, with more to come.
Perhaps Pex will dress you in a nice corset so that you can join us on the thread?

Have a great day.
Lots of Love

Pex is back and so am I. Pex doesn't let me on the internet when he's not around.

But he made up for it by buying me, get this, 18 dresses. So it's going to take me a few days to get all caught up.

So I am getting ready to try on the first dress. I told Pex to wait until I'm in the dress. But he insists I looked cute taking off my t-shirt. I don't really believe him.

No alternative with putting on some tight tops. But I don't do it often and keep my skin well oiled in my joint areas. So far, no stress cracks.

But being a fashion model, I suppose it comes with the territory.

Hello Sunshine!

Back in the 70's and 80's, Pex spent his summers traveling extensively throughout Canada. One of the first things that Pex noticed was the striking difference between American and Canadian radio.

"Before the MAPL system was established in 1971, Canadian music was regarded with indifference by Canadian radio, and during the 1960s, Canadian radio was dominated by British or American acts. This was a major hurdle for Canadian musicians, since they could not gain attention in their home country without having a hit single in the United States or Europe first.

The MAPL system, created by Stan Klees (co-creator of the Juno Award), was adopted in 1971 to define and identify Canadian content in pieces of music for the purposes of increasing exposure of Canadian music on Canadian radio through content regulations governing a percentage (25%) of airplay to be devoted to Canadian music. The percentage was increased to 30% in the 1980s, and to 35% effective January 3, 1999."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_content

Because, there were very few Canadian artists at the time, Canadian radio stations struggled with finding enough Canadian content to meet the new law. That meant that songs performed by Canadian artists saturated the airwaves to the point of over-saturation. Channel hopping meant that instead of hearing the same song once an hour, you might hear it 2 or 3 times an hour.

One song that is still stuck in Pex's head to this day is "Sun Goes By" by Dr. Music. Canada's answer to the Fifth Dimension.
