Same grandnephew had an app on his phone that looked like a calculator. Press the right number sequence and a hidden photo folder opened. Won't go into what was in it, but I sure wish the young ladies at school had cel phones way back when I attended. 😉

I used to love the old video rental shops. There were none of the smart TVs and subscription services for Amazon or Netflix. You paid max £2.50 or £3.00 to see the latest film release and returned the next day😁

Well when I was 6 or 7 I remember buying comics about Batman and Superman and i first saw things called Sea Monkeys advertised, but you could only get them from the States. I actually thought they were little people, and was very disappointed when I found out they were just crustrations🤣🤣🤣

I vaguely remember that. I know the local chippy used to sell bags of all the bits of chips, normally all the hard crispy bits and you used to be able to buy spam fritters

I remember as kids we would go get a bag of scraps which would cost tuppence.

Remember well before Bettys coronation (1953) bit of grease proof paper and wrapped in newspaper , old guy I used to decorate for said he wondered how mam made a living , during the war she would give extra to them she knew had big family’s with the men away fighting , during the war potatoes where not on ration , like to see the take always doing it now a days .
