The small invasion.

It all started at the beginning of 2021 when Chito, a Smart doll Chitose Multiverse arrived. On her arrival I tried to make her feel welcome so I fed her.

A few hours later, she spoke her first words....

When I explained I didn't have anymore, she went all Lord Sugar on me

I learnt a lot in those first few days, like checking my slippers for Lego, and how stupid I look on a morning with one eyebrow. I thought I was getting a sweet elf to take pictures of and share adventures with but I just ended up with a bundle of mischief intent on tormenting me and spending my money.

Occasionally I'm allowed to take pictures and sometimes I'm told to take pictures and sometimes she takes 'elfies' with her phone.

I made her a guitar and asked her to play some elvish music

I think she misunderstood cos she broke out into an out of key rendition of Jailhouse Rock

She gets all the sweets she needs, thankfully her size means a little goes a long way.

She doesn't really like Jaffa Cakes. They're a bit too big for her, she gets the filling all over and leaves sticky little hand prints everywhere.

She says she'll forgive you just once but if it happens again she will been having words with you about paying her racket.

That's a very apt description. Smart dolls are very gremlin like. It even states on the smart doll website somewhere that they shouldn't be allowed to get wet, and not to feed them after midnight which I think is a reference to the gremlins film.

Thank you. I was pleased with how these came out. That was the last one I took. Her other sword is twice as big and I noticed through the viewfinder she was reaching for it so I pressed the shutter button and ran away.
