The small invasion.

I occasionally buy my little dolls outfits and accessories. Things I hadn't got round to using were accumulating in a box on the bedroom floor. I was getting sick of kicking it so this afternoon I decided to put it all away. This meant I had to move a load of things to get to where I have the Smart doll and Dollfie stuff kept. I decided to take some photo's while I went about doing this. This is most of the stuff I have accumulated in over 5½ years of collecting these dolls.

Since the dolls I have are marketed as fashion dolls they need clothes and those clothes need to go somewhere. I converted this bathroom cabinet into a wardrobe. Access is limited because there's normally 6 Smart dolls stood on the ledge in front of the doors.

There's also accessories. Stuff I've bought and things I've 3D printed. The coolest thing in this picture is the little drawing set in the top left corner of the basket. I did technical drawing as a job, so I'm wanting to make a 1:3 scale drawing board.

Before I forget....wigs. The bane of my life. While there is nothing wrong with the branded wigs I'm guilty of buying cheap ones from China. While some are ok, most aren't. They have to go somewhere and usually end up thrown in this corner.

Each brand has specific items like hands and eyes that can be changed. I like to not get things mixed up so I have a couple more drawers for storing these kind of things.

This one has Dollfie hands, eyes, wigs and maybe a couple of different sized chest parts in there.

Thank you Carly. It's true that they don't take up much space but that's actually a bad thing because they will tell you that there is room for another one.

Chito seems to have a remarkable appetite. I reckon she’d even polish off a military biscuit.

Last time I tried they wouldn't cooperate until we had discussed how much they were getting paid and had it all drafted up into legally binding contracts but I'll see what I can do 😀

Wow, that is a good size collection you have there.
I was gonna buy one of those dolls on Ebay, but spent the money instead on a Meccano steam engine that I've wanted since I was a child.

Thanks Joe. When I am in the room with them it doesn't feel like I have so many but when I watch the video I can't help but think its gotten a little crazy. Ebay isn't a bad place to look, I grabbed another one from there yesterday. Wish me luck finding a space for her.

I have an old Meccano steam engine that belonged to my father. There's also a big wooden chest full of bits. Its all up in my attic, I think it dates from around the 1960's. I never got into it when I was a younger.

Thank you Bobby.. I did think the thread title was quite apt. Its not really an invasion because they are all very welcome here. Sweets might work. I will let them know. I will plan to get some stories posted, they have given me a list of demands I have to fulfil before they will cooperate.

Oh i know they are🙂. They look like they could cause mischief if they wanted too. Like raiding the cupboards or hiding things from you like the TV remote or trying to open your post for you. But they are very pretty and cute
