You know you've got too many Smart dolls when they start sending them flat packed for you to assemble.

Is that how they send them now. My friend had one years ago and i thought they came ready made in a posh box

They started to sell bodies on their own and that's how they arrive. I think it saves on shipping. Full dolls still arrive fully assembled. The boxes now are just plain brown cardboard. I think the very early ones possibly had something a bit more fancy.

Oh fair enough. I know his lady was quite expensive. I think he even got a nice bag with her.

They did cost more a few years ago. I remember them been close to £400 when I first considered one. The £/¥ exchange rate has changed a lot since then and they are about £280 now. They still come with a bag. I don't have much use for them, I've got loads stuffed behind my wardrobe because they are too nice to throw out.

I'm having a bad day. A picture of some cute cats always helps cheer me up and bring a smile to my face.
