Can Members begin to use the new forum now.

Does mr track want to delete the new character and I'll get his org character logged in for him. He can change the password I assign him? Of course he is not really on the forum much is he. Its his doll(s) that do all the posting.

I commend your efforts on this. I know all to well the time, energy and expense involved, but here's the thing.

Speed, at least on my PC seems fine. Just that everything is so damn big. I find myself having to endlessly scroll to see new content. On the site we have now, I can see 8 listings without scrolling. On the new site barely 3. It does help to reduce screen size to 80% but then pics in threads are tiny. May get use to it in time, but very frustrating at the moment..

Please mr story we both would like to be back so we can use the new forum

Here is what we see on big desk top wide screen.It helps with a mouse with scroll wheel, not great with laptop or phone, that we don't use, but if you can would plug in a mouse with scroll wheel, and not use finger, Lady-J

The old vb site we had think was one of the best simple, worked, and very easy to use.

Screen caps I posted were taken from 16x9 widescreen chromebook. Like I say, looks a little better reduced to 80%, but then Image size in threads is reduced. Just don't have all that drama with the current site.

This is just a CSS thing, I can get the size of the text just how we all like it in a little while, (keep reminding me) Lets get more complext stuff done first. I'm on the views per page atm.

Doing a watch system so you can choose to get emails on threads your watching

You don't need a password for your dolls if you attach them to a human. You can still switch to them. But I have to attach them, so just make sure if your doll is not attached to your account, that you ask me to connect them for you.

I'm not an fan of avatar in the what's new thread just a list, just a name only, and the thread name, that way you can see so many more on on page, in the old vb site we had, you could see 30 or more, it was much the best way, to do it.

Avatars were at your home page, along with all you ever posted, a lot better way.

It's also like that at the Facebook Group, where you don't have a Avatar, just a little face logo, but you have a page at the Group, all is there, and you can put any photo you want, all you ever posted at the group, if anyone wants to follow, see what you posted from way back, they could go there by hitting the little logo and check it out, like that so much better than what we do here.

Myself would be all for not having Avatars in the what's new new list, for me the more simple the site is the better, think all that is being done is a little out of hand, and will never be used, I like a fast site, good place to easy post the photos and video, nice text set up, center page and so on in the posting box, and that's about all,

Feel lost here never mind, the new site, it's like being in a big London City and not a small village, that a forum should be, it's why there are Groups on Facebook, Lady-J (y)

Latest post page on new site radically changed so you can see many more posts on the page.

Reply's on threads speeded up, the working of the reply page changed to match this xenfoto site, so should be faster!

Other little fixes done.

I'm thinking of shutting this site down (temperory condition) on Thursday at noon to update the new forum. And then its the new forum onward if everyone is happy with it. So NOW is the time to get on there, start making new threads and using extensively to make sure EVERYTHING works well. I need you guys to test test test.

Create proper emails for your dolls so they get messages on threads they are warching and things like that. You can add passwords then if they don't have them so you can sign in as a doll later, if you need two dolls on at the dsame time for instance?

So get on there and let me know everything you find on the bugs bus bus thread. Sticky at the top on the General Doll Discussion forum.

You need to use the upload button to add images to posts. It works differently to the old site.

Noticed Vids from Franzatlantic and some other threads are missing from the short video section.

Will there be an alert icon by the user name when logged in like there is here next to the PM icon? I use that rather than check email every time.

A red dot on logged in members on the message and topic screen is a good idea though. I should be able to do that.

Working on the delete members with 0 posts that have not visited their account in 6 months. Then every week that function will work agaon to delete more 0 post accounts that haven't been visited in 6 months and onwards.
