Well I'm sure they will become friends, maybe Jyoti could cook Meg a welcome meal. If I was Jyoti I wouldn't try and play any tricks or jokes on her though.

Just watch yourself at night, sleep with one eye open for a while. Is she sharing your room or is Mr. Franz going to put some restraints on her?

Well, I don't really have a room. Except for Priya, most of us girls just hang out in Mr Franz' office. He still has some work to do on her, so right now Meg's body is in the closet in a big plastic bag and her head's up on a shelf. Mr Franz says he's going to try to make her look more pleasant. I sure hope so... 🙄

I think it may be what I need to make a skeleton for one of my C18 dolls.

Thanks. It's ball and socket plastic tubing, originally made for low pressure drain lines and such. This is the largest size they make. It's very similar to the ball and socket armature sold for making small dolls and teddy bears. This size works well for larger applications like this, where weight is relatively low. Pretty strong stuff, yet extremely flexible and durable.

Well just lock the door to Mr. Franz office😁 well Meg looks like she could do with cheering up, but in the movie she never looked very happy. At least he didn't make you an Annabelle doll from the conjuring, shes a lot worse and will probably try to possess you😯

Forgot to mention... there's a tool to connect and disconnect ball and socket tubing, but it doesn't work very well with tubing that large. Disconnecting one end from another is easy enough though, you just keep bending until it pops apart. To connect the pieces what I do is, put the male end in the freezer while I dip the female end in hot water for a couple minutes. The pieces then snap right together with very little effort. ;)

But... but... that's the closet she's in. The one in his office. 🥵

Can't be. Until recently Meg didn't exist. She was just a velour pattern in a box on a shelf somewhere in Sweden. Mr Franz made her alive. Well thinking about it... :unsure: I know he wouldn't make mean plushy people, so I guess everything will be okay. 🤷‍♀️

I think Jyoti's starting to warm up to M3GAN. I'm in the process of tailoring Meg's wardrobe a bit, so she's mostly been in her undies all day. No complaints yet and Jyoti says Meg looks a lot less threatening in her underwear. 👙

Well when Neca announced the release of a 1:1 scale M3GAN replica, Jyoti wanted one. Neither of us liked the final release though, so I made this one. So technically she's for Jyoti, but they haven't paired yet. Jyoti's still keeping her distance. ;)

Oh my gosh Akira ji, I wouldn't do anything like that! I just wanted one coz I thought she was cute. I didn't know about all the scary stuff till me and Suzy watched the whole movie. Yikes! 🫣

You have every right to be a little scared. Plushies are masters on mind control. And... they can move objects telepathically too. My cousin Holly is a plushie and I swear that she is constantly hiding my clothes and jewelry. You would not believe how many hours I have spent looking for things that Holly hid on me.

Oh, Veronica, Dhila, Priya and Chance never do anything like that, Hanna ji. They never hide my stuff. They just borrow it without asking! 🤨

Well, after Mr Franz took off Meg's clothes to fix them, she doesn't seem so scary anymore. You should have seen how flustered Mr Franz got seeing Meg in her underwear! It was really funny. Undies are his weakness you know. ;)

Finally had some time to get back to my little project. Been meaning to shorten Meg's costume to compensate for a slight miscalculation on my part in regard to height. Seemed easy enough, but got real complicated, real fast.

I was going to just turn the existing hem under 5 inches and stitch it in place. That proved impossible, because the dress flares out at the bottom. Turning it under would have caused excess fabric to bunch up. That meant I'd actually have to remove 5 inches of material.

Normally not such a big deal, but the skirt being flared, the bottom is cut circular. That wasn't immediately apparent due to the kick pleats. So my cut had to follow the same contour. Not especially difficult, but rather time consuming to layout.

Okay, ruler in hand I measured 5 inches up from the existing hem, made a mark, moved the ruler, made another mark and so on. That's when the next issue reared it's ugly head. The kick pleats throw the measurements off slightly and make re-hemming a little more tricky.

Many hours later though, I finally managed to accomplish what I set out to. 😥
