Everything seems to work. Reset password was easy.

But then again, since joining, I have never once experienced a single issue that others have mentioned on either my 3 year old HP laptop running Windows 10 or my phone, an Android Galaxy A25.

The current site is the easiest of all forums that I am on to post properly (format post as I want) and has worked flawlessly. My fear then is hoping that this new forum is not a step backwards.

I imagine that's what it is. Login works, but the border changes from brown to an awful blue when logged in. I imagine that will be changeable once the site is finished, but kind of annoying having to change my browser settings to view the new site properly. No issues at all with the current site. Very easy to use.

Working on it. Yes the colours will be editable when ready. You will be able to even design your own colours so your dolls have a unique look!

Not being the brightest on IT stuff is this to replace this forum which seems to work OK.

Yes new forum is to replace this one. This one costs money just to have it, and you can't code it do what you want, such as have doll accounts attached to yours so you don't need to sign in and out all the time. Plus othjer gems such as have whatever colours you want for your doll accounts, colours different than anyone else. I'm sure some members colours will look horrible LOL, but there will also be the normal colours to choose such as blue green brown and Pink...

There will be galleries too like on my Ai forum. And new website should be really fast because there's no bloat.

Lets see if it can be done first though.

I think i have solved all the problems reported in this thread. Forum list complete, thread list with a forum complete, now working on posts page.

Still displaying a tad large for me unless I zoom out, but better than it was.

I changed your theme to brown until you can pick or make your own theme. Hoping the layout is fine now on your browser? I know the text is stil a little large on your device, but it very small on mine?

How do you get into it?

You have to make a password as these could not be transfered. Use the lost password link in the logon screen.

I had to reset the password on the new site using the link. It sent an email with a link for me to enter a new password.

If I zoom out to 80% it is. Not that big a deal I guess.
You don't really have to change your password. I just entered the one I use now so the new site would have it. Went right through.

How do i log my girls in, or dont they need log in details anymore, im talking about the new forum? Do they need to be initially logged in for me to use the switching facility?

I got the link to reset password, and set one up, but it wouldnt log her in, Thea that is, or is that still being worked on. Obviously i can still log in

I haven't getting to the merging accounts yet, still working on the posts to get all the pictures working

ok just an update to the new MLDF website

I have been working hard on the forum and thread pages and have made good progress. They look amazing , just like this old forum. They are less bloated than this forum but should have all the featurtes that matter when done. Working on the quote feature ar the moment, or as you would know it the reply.

There is a few problems with some posts as you might expect, a few missing pictures here and there, but the vast majority are fine. I have found that editing old posts is a problem so you wont be able to edit old post created on this site. You can ask me to do something, but ingeneral don't expect to be able to change them. Any new posts you do, there's no problem. If you log onto the new site you can sign in and look through everything. You can delete you old posts if you want, but chances are you won't get them back so be careful, treat is as a live site from now onwards.

If you notice any of your posts have lost their pictures, just let me know and I will take them from old site and upload on new site for you. Has to be before the new site is moved to the root folder though, the old site will be gone after that.

I am still working on the thread page, just got the report button to do after the quote system. Theres the like buttons to do and match up with old site if possible. Thumbs up, heart, cry sad and angry. Any new ones you want, such as kiss?

Then i'll look at merging the doll accounts to the member page, thats the main pupure for soing this after all.

After that I'll get the theme colours done for you, create a PM system and all the little luxuries we know and love. I have to get the member promotions working too, a little different than what we have now perhaps. They will keep promoting the more and more posts you do so you feel you keep pregressing. I can do some member list if you want to show who's in the lead on certain things like on this site,but I don't really think you're bothered about it. I'd rather keep it allas simple as possible really so theres less can go wrong LOL

What's there seems to work okay, just doesn't look as nice as what we have now.

Sidebars are huge compared to above and the one to the right stays visible in threads making photos display too small.

You wat to loose the sidebar on posts?

Anyone else agrees with this?

Personally I think the littler window is better as the photos look better since they a little smaller, no scrolling to see the whole photo, and text is easier to read when the lines aren't so long? For me anyway. I agree the sidebars need shringking though.

The photos do looks better smaller. I don't like scrolling to see the whole photo.
The side bar does need reducing in size.

If we had 💯 like button it would have saved me tying this.😉
